Luca Scacchetti

Luca Scacchetti was born in Milan in 1952.

In 1975 he obtained a Degree in Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan. He then taught in various institutes: at the Politecnico of Milan, the European School of Design, and the Brera Academy of Milan.

From 1990 to 1995 he was Head of the Architecture Department at the European School of Design. He is the writer of various essays and articles on different topics about history of architecture, methodology of architectural planning and industrial design.

He planned and supervised works in Italy and other countries, from Japan to Spain, Greece, China, France, varying his themes on the basis of urban layout, buildings, renovation of buildings and interiors. He also collaborated with many important Italian and European companies producing furniture, lighting systems and design objects. Among these Tender Rain®, for whom he designed a number of shower heads and shower columns.

When in July 2015 Luca Scacchetti passed away, Studio di Architettura Scacchetti Associati came to life.


Mihran Rovelli Manoukian

Mihran Rovelli Manoukian studied at the University of the New South Wales of Sidney and at the Politecnico of Milan, where he obtained a Bachelor in Industrial Design in 2003.

He then completed his education at the Architecture Academy of Mendrisio, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture in 2008 and a Master of Science in Architecture in 2010.

He took part in many international contests, won twice the Good Design Award as awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design, and was nominated for the prestigious international award Compasso d’oro for the shower head Babordo Tender Rain®.

Massimiliano Settimelli _ LDA.iMdA

He was born in Empoli, Tuscany, in 1972.

He graduated at the University of Architecture of Florence. In 2001 he started working as an architect and designer dealing with projects in the private and public sector, exhibitions and Industrial Design.

He often takes part in architectural competitions, winning important awards, such as the Red Dot Award.

In 2002 he won the GLASSHOUSE EUROPEAN COMPETITION, aimed at a glass house project.

His works have been published in leading trade magazines such as INTERIORS, DOMUS, BATHROOM, MARIE CLAIRE MAISON, ELLE DECOR and BATHROOM DESIGN, for which he signed two covers.

In 2012 he became partner of LDA.iMdA Architecture Studio and straight after he was appointed head of Design.

In 2016 he started working with Tender Rain, for which he designed the PETALO collection in stainless steel.
